Used canoes can be a good alternative to new ones and I occasionally have some for sale, usually for clients on consignment. I also sometimes have various canoe accessories for sale, as well, such as forms or trailers. I will be straightforward regarding the condition of these canoes and accessories, so you can be assured of knowing the full condition of each. Full payment is required prior to pickup.

1930 Willits Brothers Canoe

This is Willits #408, a standard 17' cedar and mahogany sailing canoe completed in 1930. The seller is only the second owner of this wonderful craft. It shows the typical minor scratches and dings of normal use, but it has been well cared for, has no broken parts, and received new varnish every 3 years or so. It comes complete with original Willits sailing accessories, two original paddles, and a copy of the original bill of sale. Optional non-Willits accessories are available from the seller at minor additional cost.

This beautiful example of Willits brothers craftsmanship is ready for launching today. You can be the envy of your neighbors and other boaters if you decide this canoe needs to be in your life!

1961 Willits Brothers Canoe

This is an historic Willits canoe - #952 and is one of only five that made the trip from Tacoma, Washington to Juneau, Alaska in 1961. The original and only owner is offering it for sale to the right buyer. Please open the PDF files below for complete information about this amazing canoe and all the extras included in the sale. Also included in the sale are 2 large charts documenting the route of the 1961 voyage, a daily written itinerary of the trip with the names and ages of all the participants, and smaller charts showing the routes of other trips in this canoe in British Columbia and Alaska waters.

1955 Willits Brothers Canoe

This is Willits #882 built in 1955 and owned by the same family throughout its history. It is the typical 17' Willits canoe made from red cedar with mahogany trim. This canoe comes with 2 original Willits paddles, an original Willits rug, and a padded Willits seat back. The inner hull is in great condition because of the use of the rug. Very minor wear on the exterior from normal use.
