1967 Old Town 16' Guide Canoe

$1,000

Old Town's workhorse canoe was the Guide model. This 16' version (#177825) was completed in 1967 and shipped to Seattle. It's time for the current owner to pass it along to a new home. It needs very little wood repairs other than replacing a few small sections of cracked planking. It also needs to have the varnish stripped and reapplied, new canvas installed along with filler, and paint, and new caning for the seats. Although the canvas is deteriorating, it could be used for a season or two before it must be replaced.

This canoe is located in Seattle, Washington and the owner is asking $1,000 for it. Contact me if you're interested.

1948 Willits Brothers Canoe

$9,000

Willits Canoe #748

Willits canoes in this condition don't come up for sale very often, so act quickly before someone else snags this treasure! This is #748 built about 1948. The 17' hull has only minor scrapes and scratches, but the finish is original and all the tack heads are fully "dimpled" as they were when the canoe left the Willits shop. The decks exhibit minor cracking that can be easily repaired. The canoe is the standard Willits construction with red cedar outer and inner planks, mahogany trim, and spruce seats. One original upholstered seat back is included in the sale of this beauty.

This canoe is located in Hayden, Idaho and the owner is asking $9,000 for it. Contact me if you're interested.
